administrative code
Hi!
Me and a few others working for CEMML need access to transtream, and were blocked with access by not having the administrative code. Any ideas?

Shared address box and/or shared account
It would be great if it was possible to have either a shared address book or a shared account. We have a number of projects where it could be any given person on our team who might be shipping a package out. Having a central location with all of our common addresses would be great. What would be even better, is if we could see and/or share shipment statuses with other people on our team.

Hi Christian,
This is already available. You will need to obtain a Secondary eID from the Division of IT (work with your local IT staff, or send an e-mail to help@colostate.edu detailing who will be the primary eID for the secondary eID). Once you obtain a Secondary eID, you will login and create a profile in Transtream using that account. Then your team can all use that Secondary eID username/password to login to Transtream and perform your shipping operations.
Let me know if you have any questions or run into any issues (e-mail shipping@colostate.edu and they will route you to me.)
Thank you!
Richard

Creating a label to have a package sent TO campus
I have received a request to create a shipping label so that a colleague can send a package to a lab in my department. I am wonder if there is a way to have a label created through transtream, as opposed to taping the requisition to the box and CR attaching the shipping label

Hi Timothy - Yes, what you are referring to is the "Create a Return Label Requisition" option in Transtream. Click that button from the Transtream Desktop and you will be guided through the process to enter the required information. Once submitted, that request will go to our Shipping Desk where it will be processed and the shipping label e-mailed to your colleague. Let me know if you have any other questions! Thanks! - Richard

Hello,
This depends on if the Requisition has already been processed by our Shipping Desk/Mail Services staff or not. If it has not yet been processed, you can open the Requisition by following these instructions:
1) Click Create a Shipment Requisition
2) Click the Requisitions button on the top menu bar
3) This window will list your requisitions (newest at the top). Click the Requisition # that you wish to retrieve.
4) Click the SELECT button at the bottom of the window
5) This will open your Requisition.
6) Make any necessary changes and proceed through the ENTIRE Requisition and click PRINT. Your changes will NOT be saved until you actually click PRINT.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact our Shipping Desk at (970) 491-5347 or by e-mail at shipping@colostate.edu.
Thank you!
Richard

How to cancel a requisition.
If I have already made a label for a package but am no longer sending the package out, how do I cancel the charge in the system so the department doesn't get charged for a label that wasn't utilized?

Sorry for the delay in answering this via UserEcho. There is no reason to cancel a request once it is created, you are not charged for any shipment until it is finally processed at the Shipping Desk or Mail Services. Thanks!

Getting an error that none of the carriers selected a return rate for my shipment. What do I do?
I'm currently receiving an error when I get to the choose rate step, that none of the carriers have selected a return rate for the shipment. And therefore I have no option to continue the shipment requisition.

How do I add insurance? Declared value ≠ Insurance.
I am wondering at what point in the process I can add insurance. I get the notification that the "Declared Value" does not mean insurance, but do not see where else I might add that info. I need to ship a computer worth $1,700. Thanks!

Duplicates
Is there any way to search just for duplicates so I can delete the extras? I am trying to clean up my address book but I don't want to have to search for each individual address.
Thanks!

Hi Kevan,
Here is a good web link for an explanation on the Incoterms (Terms of Sale): The Beginner's Introduction to Incoterms
By default, we set this to DDP, and it should remain as such unless you know it specifically should be changed. For more information about Incoterms, please contact the Shipping Desk at shipping@colostate.edu or 491-5347.
